GCSE and A level Exam timetables
With so many different exam boards with a myriad of different exams it is of no surprise that examination officers need an IQ higher than most. It is a form of origami to get the timetable to sync with the rooms available avoid classes and have the correct access arrangements in place. Possibly a future solution could be this:
Have a range of questions available on the day that are generated for the pupils who sit the unique exam and marked accordingly.
This with the aid of machine learning and A.I. will allow both examiners, administrators and pupils to actually have a more natural timings for the exam. As there is nothing to say the exams are to be taught over two years, one year or even 5 months. It has traditionally been at the behest of the school timetable along with the exam timetable that gives the pupils this set of timings. With machine learning and artificial intelligence setting and possibly marking the exam. This might well change the school year all together.
