Our aim to deliver quality exam services has led us to Dubai.
Our plan over the next six month is to begin to host international A Levels in Dubai to serve the region.
Why are we doing this:
We believe there is a growing demand for UK qualifications while also a falling supply of locations to do it in. The UK’s pre eminent position of delivering quality exam services that are benched marked throughout the world. We have to work hard to at extending the locations to sit exams.
While the pandemic locks down the UK. We have to remind ourselves what makes us so different from the rest of the world. Our international law under pinned a great deal of world politics and economics. While our judges preside over cases the world over.
So to do our exams. There is no better way for the UK’s ability to shape the world than through the standards of learning and grading.
While the reasons we have exams are often complex. I have set out a few reasons here in the blog. There is a far greater price at hand than just using GCSE and A level exams to grade the co hort of the UK’s teenagers.
Instead, the rigour of A levels, under pinned by the UK’s universities provides the perfect platform for UK’s global projection. there is not better way than a country to develop its schooling that choosing UK’s A levels as their standard exams. By providing the rigour countries need to grade and develop their schooling. The UK;s A levels and different exams that flow from the UK;s exam boards provides a building bloc that is both world beating and tried and testing. Not choosing a less rigorous exam process means the reflection and rigour that A levels bring will not be applied that countries future.
A level exams allow the country to set the tone. The tone of rigour and excellence in learning expectations and integrity.
Why Dubai?
There is no better place to promote a UK standard than dubai. With its regional hub serving the whole of the Arab world. The Dubai infrastructure and network effect provides the perfect platform for promotion and delivery.
