GCSE & A Level 2020 Autumn exam dates announced

GCSE & A Level 2020 Autumn exam dates announced

Autumn dates for A level and GCSEs have been announced.

We have had guidance from the boards that any candidate who would like to take the actual exam to improve their summer result will have an opportunity to take any GCSE, AS and A-level in the autumn.  This also includes anyone who was not entered in the summer exams.

This is a way of appealing the grading process of the summer of 2020.. Here at The Exam House we strongly believe exams should never have been cancelled in the summer of 2020.

We can now confirm that the dates for these exams will be:

  • AS and A-level exams: Monday 5 October to Friday 23 October

  • GCSE exams: Monday 2 November to Monday 23 November.

The entry deadlines for your diary will be:

  • AS and A-level – 4 September

  • GCSE (except English Language and Mathematics) – 18 September

  • GCSE (English Language and Mathematics) – 4 October. Both the GCSEs and A levels series can be taken at the Exam House.

  • AQA exam centre, Cambridge International exam centre, Edexcel exam centre, OCR exam centre
