Labour party u turn on GCSE and A level exams 2020

When Ofqual announced how GCSE & A level exam grades would be handed out with their consultation process. The Labour Party made it abundantly clear it did not trust teachers to hand out exam grades.  The then Shadow Education Secretary Angela Rayner told FE News that:

“We have always said predicted grades are not always accurate, and can disproportionately affect the children who need the most support, and we pushed ministers to ensure students can sit an exam later if they wish.”

How things have changed. So today in the morning news round Angela Rayner goes and says the complete opposite!

Claims teachers should have the final stay of the grades handed to pupils and exam candidates.

The left wing capture of the teaching profession is beginning to fray at the sides. Lets hope this exam season mess speeds it up.
