Ofqual Update for Private Candidates 2020 Exam Period

ofqual exams

Dear Students, Ofqual have now released further guidance for Private Candidates looking to complete their qualifications in the 2020 examination period.

If you have not done so already, we stress that you MUST contact your examination centre and request they contact us if you can have your grade(s) submitted by our college. We will not discuss or accept requests for this from students, it must come directly from your examination centre.

ONLY your examination centre can submit your grades and work to awarding bodies, the college cannot do this. Please note the following guidelines from the Head of Centre:

The college will not offer grades for students who have NOT submitted any work on their course.

The college will not contact your examination centre on your behalf, they must contact the college and make the official request for the information they need.

The college will fully disclose to the examination centres the date the student enrolled and the dates work was submitted and graded.

Your grade prediction provided by the college to the examination centre will remain confidential and will NOT be disclosed to the student at any point.

There will be zero tolerance for any inappropriate actions or behaviours conducted by students, parents or carers.
