private schools charging for exams

Private school parents are up in arms according to the daily mail.

That their children's GCSEs and A-levels - even though the exams were axed are still be charged for.

Some parents are agast as to why they are being charged exam fees while schools are doing the marking and there are no examiners assessing the exam scripts.

Essentially private school parents are being charged twice. This is more reason to move exams away from schools.

While other state sponsored schools are apparently absorbing the cost of exams, private schools pass on the fees to parents.

private schools charging parents for exams when exams are not taking place makes a mockery of private school education.
