WJEC private candidates

WJEC private candidates

WJEC Private Candidates are defined as those who pursue a course of study independently but take an exam and/or assessment at an approved WJEC exam centre .

The Exam House is an approved JCQ WJEC Exam centre.

The WJEC private candidate is responsible for making appropriate arrangements with such a centre that is prepared to:

(a) make the necessary examination accommodation available and; (b) conduct, supervise, mark and authenticate any non-examination units/components

Private candidates ideally should reach out to a WJEC exam centre before they start to learn.

Do note, the WJEC can only accept entries for exam candidates who have a relationship with an approved WJEC exam centre. Like The Exam House.
