According to the Daily Mail today, the AQA inputting system is causing exam officers to input, through mishaps, the wrong grades. These grade inputs are the predictions that according to the school the candidate would otherwise get if it was not the the virus. The exam boards will take this prediction and use it as the basis of the grade.

In an embarrassing episode the shear volume and bureaucracy the schools are now in charge of will mean there will be mistakes. Schools will struggle to cope with this new role of judge and jury for exam candidates.
