Cambridge International have taken a week to engage with the UK Government. While we have paraphrased their press release below. In short, Cambridge International summer 2021 exams are on.
Cambridge international have been working closely with the UK Department for Education and Ofqual. Cambridge International believe, like we do at the Exam House, that exams are the fairest way to accurately assess pupils of their achievements. Whilst remaining as safe as possible for providers, we are optimistic that exams can be delivered in a safe manner. Cambridge International continue to aim to align the standard of Cambridge IGCSE and Cambridge International AS & A Level to that of equivalent regulated qualifications in GCSE and A levels.
Note, Cambridge International is an unregulated GCSE and A Level exam centre.
Cambridge International Pre U guidance: Pre U is a s a regulated exam. With exam candidates mostly in the in the UK, we have sought urgent clarification from Ofqual as to whether or not they can do ahead. - Stay tuned.
we encourage candidates to continue to prepare for their Cambridge Pre-U examinations and non-examined components. Do call us for any exam entrance guidance. We will give the most up date we can. Along with updating this blog.
