Delaying 2021 GCSE and A Levels exams
Delaying 2021 GCSE and A Levels exams
Labour is calling for next year's A-levels and GCSEs in England to be delayed because of coronavirus
We believe that this is a sensible solution to the challenge of the 2021 A level and GCSE exams .
Kate Green, labours shadow education Sec. said GCSE and A level exams should be pushed back to allow extra teaching time as pupils now face a "mountain to climb" after losing out on up to six months of teaching because of COVID-19. Kate Green has gone on to say, "This is too important for Boris Johnson to leave until the last minute. Pupils heading back to school need clarity and certainty about the year ahead.’
Surely GCSE and A levels should be flexible. The more flexible they are the better they are for pupils and candidates.
