Improving learning and revising GCSE and A level through gamification

A short blog post on some ways to improve the learning and revising of GCSEs and A levels using simple gamification techniques:

  • Use learning game cards - Use key words for card quizzes, Guessing game, Snap games

  • Use comics - Art for subject topic and notes. Comics in different language really help with vocab learning

  • Play games with different ways of predicting an outcome which is plainly wrong. But Turning things on their head we thing about them more.

  • Role playing - Use your voice, dress or even family to pretend to a topic.

  • Record yourself - Play it back to oneself will see if you actually understand the topic.
