It is well known that gamifying revision helps with learning GCSE and A levels. Just some simple ideas to improve the gamifying of exam revision and reduce procrastination. (See the previous blog on procrastination)

Revise with others - Use games, puzzles and debates to reinforce learning - Multi play computer games do the same.

Feedback there and then - Like in computer games you often know where you went wrong when things go wrong.

Involve everybody and interact with all participants. - Use debate as a stimulation and remembering tool

Swap notes and help others to create their own. Quizzes are fun and stimulating.

Use the idea of teaching the topic or subject as a form of revision

Include and continue to work on a narrative of the game. Like snakes and ladders

Use reward when success has been achieved

Change the vocab you use to refer to parts of the subject - Change the perspective

Make sure you have levels . Complete one and move onto the next. Perhaps making each one harder - Why computer games are so satisfying.
