Procrastination in Revising for exams

There is a great deal of advice out there on revision for exams some of which is here on the exam blog. While trying hard to avoid the nightmare of Procrastination in revising for exams especially with GCSEs and A levels.

Here I give a few points on how to reduce the chance of procrastination:

Avoid distractions including phones in the place you are revising. Find a friend or a partner to enjoy the journey of revising with.

Revising can be gamifiyed. Try and make it like a board game to complete

Immersion in the GCSE or A level subject revising - Make posters, record your voice on the subject. Listen to ideas before you go to bed. Own the subject. Write a daily list - Short hand and quick. Just to review as you go.

Try and explain the learning to yourself. - Video yourself explaining the concepts Start and know there will be an end
