Sir peter lampl claims that over 10 years of damage has now occurred with the cancelling of schools. The sooner they open the better
Absolute no substitute from face to face learning. Education isn’t a benign thing. We in the UK are competing with the rest of the world. Germany are opening up schools in April.
Home learning differences has had large divisions. For instance, children getting feedback, poor income pupils getting 10 percent whereas pupils in private schools are close to 70 / 80 percent feedback.
The gap between the low income and better off has been shortening last 10 years. With the cornovirus this is now lost and reversed.
It is very important to get the schools open and safe. Children are not getting an education which is so important throughout the world. We need to keep up!
